The reason each woman arrives at Naomi’s House is varied. Many suffer from severe, persistent mental
illness, others from drug or alcohol abuse.
Each has a different story to tell.
But they all have a commonality and that is homelessness. The Guarantee Good Will Network has helped
provide a safe overnight shelter for these homeless women by making a $1,000
donation to Naomi’s House.
Naomi’s House provides much more than safe place for
homeless women to spend the night. They
work in conjunction with Poverello House and the Holy Cross Center for Women to
also provide them with meals, showers, laundry, and medical/dental care. Naomi’s House also offers needs assessment,
goal planning, health and personal living education, social service advocacy, case
management, and limited transportation.
Their goal is to be the starting place to help homeless women find their
way back to a productive, healthy life.
